British in Austria Honours List: Part 1

Thanks to some British citizens in Austria who run societies and communities or are involved in Academia and Industry

The first two categories that we want to mention are: Societies and Communities, and Academia, Education and Industry.

Societies and Communities

Societies and communities particularly felt the ravages of the pandemic – regular activities were distinctly curtailed, especially during the winter months when events and meetings have been so heavily curtailed. The effort put in to keep associations going through the pandemic and then to revive them after a long hiatus has often been down to the hard work behind the scenes of a small number of volunteers.
