Carinthia in the south of Austria has borders to Italy and Slovenia. It has a community of 600+ British citizens, due in part to it being in the British zone in occupied Austria after the end of World War II. Klagenfurt, its capital, is Austria’s sixth largest city, with a population of approx. 100,000.
