      Hi Michael, thanks for following up.
      I wrote to anliegen@ma35.wien.gv.at on May 29, reiterating that I had applied on January 8, but had not received my card.
      I got a reply on May 31 from susanne.vesely@wien.gv.at saying,”Ich habe um den dringenden Versand Ihrer Karte gebeten.”
      I intend to follow up in the next few days and will post an update when something happens.
      Meanwhile, I have travelled overseas and used without a problem the Bestätigung über die Antragstellung as proof of residence.
