This might be of interest to people. With the Niederösterreich-CARD you have free admission to over 300 excursion destinations in and around Lower Austria for only € 63, – for new purchase or for € 58, – for extension. 2022/23 Season runs 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023 in the 2022/23 season.

Can wholeheartedly recommend the NiederösterreichCard – we have made our money back from attractions in Vienna too from it, and also do regular trips in all directions around Lower Austria with it. Recently went to the museum in Eichgraben with the children – nice little museum for a miserable Sunday.
The Salamanderbahn trip is an excellent one – free instead of EUR 40 an adult on the card!
