To mark the platinum jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Christ Church are hosting a Street Party.
When: 28 May 2022, from 10:30 – 18:00.
Where: Jaurèsgasse in Vienna’s 3rd district. (Easily reachable by public transport: 71 tram to Unteres Belvedere, U4 U-Bahn to Stadtpark or Schnellbahn lines S1/S2/S3/S4/S7 to Rennweg).
What: The street party will feature a number of stalls and stands
FOOD AND DRINK: You can pick up some of Jennie’s jams and marmalades, enjoy food and drink from the British Pub (sponsored by Ottakringer), savor a cup of coffee from the Coffee Bar (sponsored by Julius Meinl), or delight in authentic Asian food provided by the church community.
SHOPPING! A wide variety (thousands!) of new English children’s books, other new and used books, accessories and jewellery, vintage clothes and household items, as well as Royal Memorabilia will be on sale at various stalls throughout the grounds.
FUN AND GAMES! We will have live music, including the Christ Church Quintet (featuring Carole Alston), a tombola, a lucky dip game for the children, and much more!
