We were recently tipped off in our Facebook groups that existing contracts with free minutes to the UK with Drei stand to lose these free minutes from August 2022.
We therefore contacted Drei (Austria), who confirmed that free minutes to the UK will no longer apply on many existing contract tariffs from 15 August 2022.
Drei did advise that the “Ideal” range of tariffs from M Plus upwards (i.e. also Ideal L, Ideal XL and Ideal Unlimited – in both Smartphone and SIM only versions) will include free minutes to the UK from then on, although it should be noted that the included monthly free minutes are relatively low.

Addendum: 22.05.2022 – Add-on packages
Please also check the possibility of add-on packages, it may be cheaper to keep your existing contract but add an add-on package for a certain number of minutes to the UK per month.
