We are pleased to advise that HM Embassy will be holding another online Q&A event on Thursday, 26 November 2020 at 12:00-14:00 CET.
Questions for the event can be submitted through the following channels:
- as comments on the Ambassador’s blog post about the event.
- between 12:00-14:00 CET on 26 November through the Embassy Facebook page.
Answers will be posted during the week commencing 30 November 2020. A number of questions submitted by britishinaustria.net in recent weeks have already been submitted for handling at this online Q&A, but this shouldn’t stop people from submitting their own questions. Please make use this opportunity to ask your questions, but please also be aware that there are some topics that it will not be possible to answer in the format of the online Q&A event, namely:
- Buying property in Austria after the end of the transition, which is regulated at a regional level (the Embassy advises contacting your provincial authorities directly).
- Tax issues, questions are best addressed to an accountant.
In addition the British Embassy advises that questions can also be asked through the consular team.
